Artificial Intelligence and the Reconciliation AB 10/20: Why the Byrd Rule wasn’t Included in Reply to Markey

The 10-year ban on using Artificial Intelligence was included in the reconciliation bill as a Democrats slammed the provision. In a statement published to X, Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) said the proposal “will lead to a Dark Age for the environment, our children, and marginalized communities.”
